Our Mission
The central mission of World Youth Served, Inc. is to bring to the compassionate individuals and local companies in metro and greater Atlanta a greater international profile by supporting programs and awareness initiatives beyond the Atlanta area. These programs will be geared toward supporting youth on the international stage with projects in resource and infrastructure development, education, and international sports awareness.
Who we are.
World Youth Served, Inc (WYS) is a not-for-profit corporation headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia.
WYS imparts optimism for local and international youth with these rising professionals commitment. With a growing demographic of active, dedicated and passionate Georgia young adults, WYS is developing strategies to harness this large source of untapped energy. As such, its methodology is three-fold:
o First, WYS carefully aims to select a Board of young, dynamic individuals who are smart, tireless and can pursue a BIG list of SMALL donors (both individuals and small businesses) with strong ties to Georgia.
o Second, our Board Directors will endeavor to build this donor list, brick by brick, dollar by dollar, in a “strength by numbers” fundraising initiative. This donor list will be comprised of small Georgia businesses and individuals giving monthly amounts ranging between $10 and $100.
Although the World Youth Served programs are geared toward the youth, both domestically and internationally, the organization's resources will carefully be prioritized to be allocated to local programs first, and as these programs become self-sustaining, then more resources will be diverted towards youth programs outside of the United States. To optimize this allocation, the scope of the programs at World Youth Served will cover three major areas: Educational / Mentoring Initiatives, Sports Development. Together, we pass the promise unto others transforming the life of everyone engaged.
